Most people who dislike Atreyu have listened to very little of their stuff. Try "Creature" or "Corsetting (probably their best one)" They can come off as a little emo-y but overall they rock. The best? Maybe not but I'll bet they put on a good show. Will be there.

atreyu is an overhyped, overmarketed band aimed at high schoolers who are too ignorant and/or can't handle real metal, so they are told that bands like atreyu are metal and therefore, are good.

I was unfortunate enough to walk past their set at Warped Tour last year in Va Beach and at Nissan. I wanted to stab my ears with Q-tips during their Bon Jovi cover "You Give Love a Bad Name."
I really don't see how they're considered a "metal" band…The only metal band that I saw at Warped Tour was Opiate for the Masses. Now THAT is a metal band!

I've lost almost all interest in Atreyu after their last 2 albums. I loved Suicide notes, but did not enjoy the last 2 at all
