Fair enough. But there were plenty of people that remained interested after Siamese Dream. I think the case could be made the Adore is the most interesting Smashing Pumpkins album.

Any further details on that? I didn't realize that D'Arcy was into la cocaina. Doesn't surprise me in the least. Has she been arrested or anything like that?
Originally posted by bearman:D'arcy's coke addiction was evident during the 1999 Arising! club tour, she looked awful, and that's commonly listed as the reason she left the band in October of that year. She has since been arrested for it once. She's virtually disappeared since then.

That's too bad…poor gal.

Mellon Collie sold 4.7 million copies? Are you kidding me? Jeez, I didn't realize they did that well.
ao a 10 album box set that sell 100K boxes is really a million seller?

Originally posted by HoyaParanoia:Actually you're half-right; they do count for two, but I don't believe the author counted them as such. I know I have seen MCIS' 8x and 9x platinum record awards, so I guess the real figure is 9.4 million?

so yes, if you had a 10 disc box set and sold 100,000 copies, you would have a platinum box set.

an EP is an ep, as long as its 30 minutes or something, 500,000 copies takes it gold. and it has to have between 3-6 songs.
What if Interpol plays a 40 min set? Does that count as a half-show?
