Vansmack, didn't realize that you were such a fan of Mickelson. I could have gotten you an autograph a couple of weeks ago. I was acting as his bodyguard. Long story.

For the record, the day Elliott Smith died I cried more for him than anyone I'd never met before. What an awful, wretched day.

Maybe, but that was "acting," thus not real tears and no curing powers.

No, I saw Dashboard open for Weezer once and these two girls stood up at merriweather all during the DC set and sobbed. Then years later I went to see Dashboard and Brand New at UMCP and between bands we (edit: not me and miss p, the royal "we") were talking to this security guard and couple of girls standing up front on the railing about the prior show and how the two girls sobbed uncontrollably. Everyone thought I was exaggerating or making it up. Then, halfway through the DC set, I hunch down to let this girl behind me take a picture and look to my right and here is this fat, slobby looking girl dead center sobbing her eyes out. I point this out to all the other people and everyone is laughing at her so bad and taking pictures of her from like 15 feet away down the railing. Finally the security guard notices something is up and comes over and we just point down the rail and he sees the girl in the middle of a cry/convulsion and he just loses it laughing. He had to sit down and put his head between his legs right there. This went on for like 10 minutes, and eventually half of us' eyes were watering from laughing so hard.

Oh, and from Chris. Cause he's dead sexy emotional.
