Yeah it was. I think I had multiple limbs moving simultaneously, which is tremendously out of character.

the last song ever was soft pyramids.

I saw them at Fort Reno in July. It was a great show. They rocked, no questions asked!

i would also like to point out that a string of terrible, terrible events happened on the night of Q and not U's last show, which is just even more proof as to why they shouldn't have broken up…

on the same night of their very last show…
- a teenage girl at Blake high school got beaten to death with baseball bats, stabbed multiple times, and run over with a car by some gang members at her school
- there was a knife fight at MY school, Walt Whitman High–possibly THE most pretentious and wealthiest public school in the area. in Bethesda. a knife fight. in Bethesda.
- additionally, during the football game, a kid from the opposing team got tackeled too hard by a member on OUR team, and had his neck broken and is extremely severely injured
- i came HOME from all this drama, and my father had to be taken to the doctor's immidiately because he couldn't stop bleeding
- i had the weirdest thing coming out of the inside of my lower lip that looked like a ball of jello. we kept cracking herpes jokes, but then it (thankfully) went down to a canker sore the next morning.


the one night Q and not U disbands and i actually think that i have herpes. it's definitely fate. there will never be good luck in the area, again. ever. until they come back together.

there was a girl stabbed to death, but the rest of that doesnt match up with news reports

most local news covered it pretty extensively, a big article on saturday morning and an even longer A1 story in today's post … i heard about it on WTOP this weekend, and while i don't watch local news, they love red meat like this and i'm sure they were all over it

the interesting/disturbing trend is violence among teenage girls … there was a good story a little while back about the all-girl gangs all over the city, and the shoutouts they get at go-go concerts and such

yeah, there are tons of teenage girl gangs around here.
but when we start having knife fights at WHITMAN then you know there's something wrong. bethesda kids get hurt when they crash their BMW's; not with knives. . .
