When I switched employers from Porsche to Ferrari/Maserati, I talked to my wife and valued her opinion. We've also had very serious discussions about moving back to Ireland soon.
I'm a a hen-pecked testicle-less whimp also?

If I see your wife doing your hair, picking out matching diamond studded white outfits for you two to wear and putting you in a sarong - then I'll worry.

If I'm making his coin, I'm not taking orders from Viktoriya either….
But I don't make his coin, so I'm packing it up and moving with the misses to SF so she can go to school at the end of next month. Guess that makes me a hen-pecked testicle-less whimp too.
I can say this though - I would never leave United. Or the Angels. Or the Ducks. Or the Steelers. Etc. Playing for your favorite team is every kids dream come true, no matter how much money or who your wife is.

That's not hen-pecked smackie, that's love…remember I'm English, my wife is Irish and we're moving back to Ireland.
Before you leave we need to meet and drink a toast together to the upcoming season..which can't come soon enough for me!
That it is. We're both from California and have a similar feeling towards heading back. I've been here for 7 years now - I'm ready for a change. I always thought I'd go to London or Dublin before heading back to CA, but it's not in the cards.
As for a drink - that's a certainty. There will be a going away party in late July and I will post the details shortly. I would like to get a drink with you at some point before then however as I am in desperate need of the football fix (the Premiership fixtures come out tomorrow morning!!!). I live and work in the city so if you're ever coming in, you'll have to let me know ( vansmack@msn.com ). I can usally be found in Dupont, Adams Morgan or my favorite stomping grounds - Cleveland Park.

Nanny O'Briens it is then!
My old watering hole. Haven't been there since the "lit'lun" arrived.
We'll sort out a day soon.

Sounds good - I'm a block away.
And what Jadetree, err, eertedaj is refering to is that I am a 4P's fan and he refuses to set foot in there so I must share a pint(s) with him in Nannies. I don't mind Nannies though (the Guinness is just better at the 4p's).

Fook off. You guys went to the P's and didn't call me. That's it - I'm eikraM until I get back from vacation!
Anyhow, while the atmosphere is more Irish at Nannie's, as a certified 1759 Society Member, the Pints aren't even close. The Ps is the far superior pint, but this board has had this argument 100 times over so I'll let it go at that.

yeah, I need kcamsnav down time.
4ps is great outside the guiness is very good and the fish and chips even better. But inside reminds me of a bad airport bar, its just too garish for me. Give me the cheap school dinner hall look of nannies anytime…..
Actually I hate that too. Give me Pharmacy or Toledo or Washington grill or red room, or best of all backbar. In Cleveland Park I preferred atomic billiards.

I haven't confirmed this yet, but I was told that Beck's physical on July 1 is going to be on European pay-per-view and the stadium has sold out to see Beck's dribble the ball around for the first time and put on his Real jersey.
And it's a wonder American's don't take passionately to footie like the rest of the world.
