there is one good thing to be said of the NHL not participating in the winter olympics: RETURN OF THE CLASSICS!!!  (or, more precisely, return of the almost-forgotten semi-classics…)

A sweep would just be too easy for Caps fans.  Almost letting us off easy.  This isn't over yet.  They will give us hope before devastating us in the most heartbreaking way possible.

If we can play like we did last night I think we have a prayer.  The physical play def rattled the bolts.  That being said…my stress level will be though the roof tomorrow night.  Playoff hockey isn't even fun to watch when your team is playing.

I can't believe they did it.  I am very tired at work.  Probably did not need those whiskey shots at 11pm.  Worth it.

y'all can thank me for moving away.  me in DC & attending playoff games = never make it past the second round.  i leave = caps off to the finals.  grumble…

unrelated: i missed this back in february.  i've seen other "homecoming" tributes like subban and marleau, but somehow this one really kicked me in the feels…
