Alright I'm curious, given all the other shows in town this weekend, what – if any – DAM! Fest shows are you planning on going to?

Tough schedule this weekend. Prime competition at this point would be The National on thursday and the Wrens on saturday, plus a few halloween parties.

Best bets for the DAM Fest are Longwave/Hopewell on Friday (RnR Hotel) and the 5 bands at DC9 on saturday. Though, the main draw for me would be the openers De Novo Dahl and Pela closing - I haven't heard Bound Stems, Bishop Allen, or Forget Cassettes. Any opinions?

I think Bishop Allen are great….quirky pop

Possibly DJ Spooky thursday and the rnr show on friday. Definitely Cloud Cult.

I really want to go to RnR Friday and DC9 on Saturday. Alas, I've got guests in town who are NOT in to music (although I'm doing dinner on Saturday and heading to the Wrens).

I will drag them to RnR on Friday. The price they pay to see me!

It's actually flipped, Pela is opening, and will go on around 8:30.

Should be 12:30, but there are a lot of variables with 5 bands…

will def. be seeing de novo dahl and bishop allen. maybe catching some other bands but not sure of what yet. will be with kurosawa.

Who is this De Novo Dahl? I've never heard of them before are they as awesome as Hinder?

Will definitely be at the DC9 show Saturday night. Not sure about Friday.

Just realized that this De Novo Dahl show will mark the third year anniversary for when I saw them at a pop festival in Baltimore. Am very curious to see them with thier new line-up, should be fun night!

p.s. posting on a donut buzz is fun :D

Does anyone know what time the first band hits the stage tonite at DC9? Can't seem to find any times posted on either the DAM fest website or DC9…

There is confusion with at least De Novo Dahl about the schedule as well. They announced via their email update they would be playing at 9pm.

DND is headling. and will be playing at 12:30 on saturday. All bands want you to come early, as more often than not you go late.

Tonight at DC9, first band goes on ~8:30 or 9. Each band to follow an hour after… CWK at ~11:30 or 12.

around what time are bishop allen going on saturday?

i want to try and catch them before heading over to the black cat for the wrens…
