I need help :(

I'm not an adult to my parents. they are paying for college and everything so I still have to kiss their asses for awhile.
I am going to the Cure concert, but I really wanted to do something on my birthday, besides staying home like every other weekend.

At 18 I was a virgin who couldn't even get laid. I lived out in the country, miles away from any of my friends. And I grew up in upstate NY, where your choice of live music consisted of heavy metal acts, or third rate country singers at the county fair.

So don't fret, think about all the poor souls who gots it worse.

Take a trip to one of the many Canadian provinces that allow drinking at 18 and have some fun.

I think Alberta and Ontario are 19 though :D

how about finding a cool coffeehouse with a soundsystem and getting a dj to spin tunage…

dont you have any friends with a house you can just have a shindig there? someone with a loud stereo, a grill, liquor…..whatever…fun AND cheap. :)

Since your birthday falls on a weekend, why not go out of town if you can/want to?

To the beach, etc. Bring your friends/have them meet you there.

Samantha, I'm not criticizing, but if your attitude were better, I think there'd be a million ways to celebrate your birthday and have fun… Man, get folks to go to Tryst on 18th Street and just be silly all night pretty easy for 18 year olds. Is DC9 21+? If your parents are cool with you going out in DC, you have so many options….way more than most kids in the burbs not near a pretty cool city. And bless your parents for paying for college – it's the nicest thing they can do for you. (Not sure why they won't let you go to NY, but who knows what's happened with you or siblings before….you've got lots of time for road trips).
