Seriously, they sound right up my alley. I'm a bit worried I'll be too beer-soaked from the GBV Live on Penn show (which is also the reason I can't get anyone to go to B'more to see the Buzzcocks with me that night…)

Bags, you would be in top condition to see The Nighties. They would be a fantastic way to close the evening. They have literally been described as Guided By Pavement.

Thirsty, you've got more cred than anyone on this board, except maybe kosmo, which is leading me to think that I need to put together a cred test for the battle for cred on the board…..

Enough with the street teamer humor!!! I think its safe to say someone with a member number under 150 is obviously credible. Is the velvet Lounge a decent palce to see a show? Might head out to the Washington Social Club show there this Friday. Another band all the street teamers on the board have good things to say about. Some good songs on their site too.
