Mid-May shows

Similar to that faced in mid-April, it's an onslaught of shows. Luckily I've spent nearly two weeks away from any music venues, so I should be well rested.

I think I'm skipping Clinic, Destroyer, Mission of Burma and Neko Case due to conflicts…the MUST SEEs are Metric, Sloan, Bigger Lovers and WSC/Carlsonics.

What are you going to? Am I missing something I shuoldn't miss?

nope. . you are right, neko case is moved to june 15.

as for may. . let's see. . .yep, going to no shows this month. if it was a weekend, i'd go to the supersuckers at ottobar.
q and not u is a maybe. enon is playing in baltimore that same night. would love to see mission of burma, but looks like it may be a road trip weekend…

Ummmm!!! I didn't notice clutch on your list of ahows to see, is this because it is a given that you're alredy going to this show or is it beacuse you really do enjoy mediocre, whiny, shoe-gazer shows? haha, kidding, have fun

i would, but i'm leaving for chicago on friday morning.
Yay to all of you coming to BigYawn night. And for those of you planning on going to Q and Not U, the Bigger Lover should be done by 1030 or 11, so you will still have time to wander over to the Cat to catch them.

Personally, I never know my schedule, but obviously i'll be at the Yawn party. And also at the WSC show. We actually have an interview coming up with the Hold Steady. and I may also end up at the 50 Foot wave show. You guys should check out The Standard, really cool band.

That's what I'm gonna try to do, although I still may leave a little early so I can catch Decahedron at the BC. I definitely want to stop by though.
I'll definitely be at 50'~

and hopefully will be able to stop by at some stage on friday
Walkie, do you know the details about this place? I'd love to make it out, but I'm a little leary since it seems like it's gonna run real late.
