Perhaps because I'm one of the few people on here ancient enough to remember when "Dinosaur Jr." was just called "Dinosaur".

Alas, I didn't reference "The Wagon" in that thread, as Julian claimed. Though I did reference REO SpeedWAGON.
what are the bands at hfstival 2006 going to be?

Have you guys actually seen Joan Jett live? If you had, you sure wouldn't be getting so excited about seeing her again.
that lineup + ticket price is a really, really good laugh.
if it were put up friday or saturday i would have thought it an april fool's joke.

This lineup is a LOLer! :)
I saw her in 2000. Some festival in downtown DC. She was defintely washed up at that point. 1983 may have been a different story.

My girls don't play soccer, but I take them places, drive a Toyota Sequoia, and can't stand Kanye West. I wear Chucks and Dickies, and band shirts. I work backstage security at Nissan and I absolutely love the rock shows, Judas Priest last summer was the loudest show I have ever worked. OMG! I have a degree in Communications from Ohio State and how about that, someone got the age right that I had my first child. So I guess I'm not a soccer mom but…what the hell am I then? My daughters and I need to go so we can see P!ATD, OKGO, The Misfits, and Cute Is What We Aim For. It looks like they are trying to bring in the 14-22 age group to the Saturday show, along with us "soccer" moms.
chile cook off is a rip 5 or 6 bands for 40 or 50 bucks
