Aren't Three Days Grace, Seether and Breaking Bejamin pretty much the exact same band?
Poorly Planned Line-ups
Regarding Sting films, how could you let out "The Bride" with Jennifer Beals?
Actually, he was in a film called "Brimstone and Treacle" which was pretty good.

So as we can plainly see, Rock History pales in comparison to Police-o-cology

I saw Loretta Lynn open for the White Stripes at Hammerstein Ballroom in April 2003, which was cool in theory, but didn't mesh with our states of mind.
I saw the Corrs open for the Stones at MCI in 99 . . .which was odd but harmless, and they were fun to look at.
Sonic Youth opening for Beastie Boys at Michael's Eighth Ave. in 92 seemed odd at the time but of course was great.
Sting opening for the Dead in 93, when Sting was in his adult contemporary prime, also seemed odd but he was great - played 'jammy' versions of King of Pain etc., but it rocked.

I always though the Surfers opened for STP?

Try sitting through the Stone Temple Pilots' grunge-derived radio hits followed by Independent Worm Saloon-era songs sung by a fat and drunk (yet glorious) Gibby Haynes.
The Jam opening for Blue Oyster Cult
I saw Trouble open up for the Ramones in Spring of '90, possibly two of the greatest bands in their respective genres but Ramones fans did NOT take well to Trouble at all. It was pretty funny watching their drummer (the late Barry Stern) flipping off the crowd between beats haha

And to the Director's shit before shit comment…hey we all can't have the same taste in music. Not every band can be like Tay Zonday who has universal appeal.
And to Brian who said he won't snob my music choice….thanks. I knew there was a reason why I didn't respond on your hey there delilah thread. good karma.
Man, that's awkward.

so dax riggs opens uo for QOTSA at Rams Head? I find that a little awkward. If i didnt dislike QOTSA so much i might go check it out. I am a fan of all dax riggs projects, acid bath, agents, deadboy, and his solo stuff, but i cant picture them touring together. good for dax, maybe get more fans.

Stereophonics opened for Howie Day at 9:30. Half the crowd was gone when Stereophonics were done.
I'll add…
Having to endure PJ Olsson as he opened for the Twilight Singers on their first tour back in 2000.
Year of the Rabbit (Ken Andrews' band at the time) opening for Pete Yorn in 2003 (I know Ken worked on Pete's Day I Forgot, but just a strange line-up)
The Damnwells opening for the Twilight Singers in 2004
