Hello Cleveland!!

i have been to cleveland dozens of times, have family there and its only about 2 hours from my hometown of pittsburgh. used to have a ball there, lots of good dining and tons of nice places to drink. i like 6th street alot, the grog shop is an interesting place to see a show.

sounds like a good place to have a showcase. not too expensive for a fairly large city, cheap to fly there, lots of stuff to do downtown.

and Cedar Point isn't that far away is it? that place looks pretty kick ass.
besides, a three day, four night concert, and you wont go cause you can't hike? you make no sense at all.

maybe next year they'll have the show at Rhettland…..

they'll have3 stages.

1 for alt country
1 for regular country
1 for other bands (you know, so people will GO to the concert)
Takes more than a music festival to get me to go somewhere. If all it took were a music festival, I'd be at Austin City Limits Festival every year. Guess with budget and vacation time limitations, music festivals aren't high enough priority for us to base vacations on them.

well, i went to the beach, played some golf and took a road trip through the desert on my vacation to Coachella……surely with some creativity you could find some exciting stuff to do in Ohio or Western NY/PA. doesnt have to be in downtown Cleveland….

Check with me - W PA is an entertainment mecca.

This Cleve-Fest can't be all bad.
It's only going to be 1.75 hrs from my house. That's 40% of the required time it takes me to get to the hallowed halls of the Nightclub 9:30.
You could always hang out with Harvey Pekar.

From off the streets of Cleveland. Here's our man in the 930 Forum.

Hmmm. We were thinking of going to Spain for a couple of weeks, but perhaps we'll have to reconsider and go to Cleveland.

it would be cheaper…..and you wouldnt have to learn any Spanish
Cleveland has the biggest Hooters bar & grille I've ever seen.

And it would be cheap – woo hoo! (The city generally, not Hooters.)
but you must be pretty stupid if you are reconsidering a trip to Spain to go to Cleveland!

only a Wilco fan, I suppose.
Sorry, I'm more of an ass man.

Good points. I'll run them by the wife and see which wins out.

yesh, cedar point rules!!!!

if you like roller coasters..otherwise, i don't think it would be too exciting

the only bar fight ive ever seen was in cleveland…two women were beating the crap out of each other over who got to the bathroom first
In my opinion, Cedar Point is the best amusement park in the country. This music fest sounds really promising!
And sometimes your mom gives birth to them…
