If you think Cleveland rocks now, wait till next year.
As part of its 10th anniversary celebration in 2005, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum plans to bring more than 100 bands to town in June for a three-day, four-night festival of cutting-edge music, in partnership with the CMJ (College Media Journal) Network.

Why can't they put it in a city people would actually want to travel to?

My dream is to facilitate something like this, likely smaller, to DC. So Seth, when you want to sit down and talk about this, let me know. :)

Why don't you try it in a city where the economy needs a boost?

While Cleveland is obviously hurting, I think there are very few cities in this country right now that don't need a boost. DC may be be one of them I suppsoe. Though, I'm not sure a weekend of music would boost too much here, especially in the summer when DC thrives because of tourism anyway.

Ask Miguel Cairo how well Manny plays D. Dumb ass still thinks he hit a homer.

Well, you're supposedly a baseball fan - maybe you could go to Jacobs Field while you are there, and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Sounds like a great show to me.

I have two baseball teams within 60 miles of my home. Why would their having a baseball team draw me to Cleveland when I can just go here?
And the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame just strikes me as schlock.
Does Cleveland have great dining? great architecture? Interesting people? Mountains for hiking?

Is that an amusement park? My wife wouldn't go on any of the rides with me, and going by myself wouldn't be any fun :(
