Locals in 2004

So, I admit i am not always on top of some of the DC bands. What I am trying to do, is be sure we (BigYawn) have reviewed a comprehensive list of DC bands 2004 releases. I obviously know a bunch, and we have reviewed some too, but I'm trying to get the bands I just don't know enough about…
Anyone wanna help? List 'em if you got 'em.
Thanks

if you don't buy it for the music, but it for the liner notes
as for DC2004, the Q and not U is becoming one of my favorite of the year, but I know they are not exactly what you were looking for

You're right Pollard…but Your Pal certainly is. I know the bigger ones:
Trans Am
Decahedron
WSC
Q and not U
Apes
Beauty Pill
Engine Down
but I know I'm missing a ton. need to pay more attention to all the CD release parties around town perhaps….And check the lovitt, Teenbeat and dischord sites…but i know there are others. Plus tons of smaller local bands that send us stuff all the time :)

I'm sure very few of you are nerdy enough to relate, but everytime I hear about White Flight I think of Alpha Flight (along with Gamma, Beta and Omega Flights). Makes me smile, as it once was one of my favorites

I know we're not indie enough to be on anyone's list. So we had to go to Germany and score a debut at #7 on the German Alternative Charts…this week #6. Prodigy's newest album is sitting at #3!

He also played Galaxy Hut… I think we can still call him local.
But the Walkmen, or the French Kicks… prolly not.

I once saw a band from Detroit play Galaxy Hut. Were they local?
