PJ tix were $50, plus $2 facility charge and the usual modest TM $8.80 convenience charge and another $3.05 processing charge for the entire order. total was about $62 each.
Bruce/REM was about $25 more each.

Thank you, tooms. I was beginning to wonder why the information was so elusive! ;)

Yeah, but tickets like these *always* get posted at first for insane amounts. Then it dies down. I'd bet very, very few folks get great prices like that for their tickets. Maybe a couple hundred for very close-in rows.
What's insane is that, it's not like PJ won't tour again…

the current bid is at $1000 which is what someone is willing to pay for those tickets… my guess is some lawyer/doctors girlfried is a big DCFC fan
in this day and age of ebay etc, one would think that tickets should be tagged as nontransferrable for shows like this. and i hope that the Ten Club looks into the possibility of suspending ticket buying priviledges for those reselling tickets via ebay.
i would certainly hate to be working at Ten Club right with all the nonesense people are spouting about getting "lousy" tickets or getting them all. .. just more me first attidude

But just because there's a bid doesn't mean the tickets will actually be purchased, correct? I think more of these deals fall through than you think, and that these high bids are put in by the sellers to "get the ball rolling."
I will say, the personalized Ten Club passwords is quite brilliant. The limit of two tickets sucks, but it makes sense based on their goals.
By the way, we got MUCH better seats for the Reading show via Moveon (floor, secion 7) than we did from Ten Club (Section 106, pretty high up).

I think the 2 ticket limit for the fan club is perfect. It's supposed to be a perk for the actual fan club members - not the fan club members and a bunch of their friends who can't be bothered to join themselves.

I agree…sucks for me, but does match their goals perfectly. Don't you pay for membership of Ten Club?

yup membership is $15 a year with the xmas singles and the opportunity to buy tickets via the band for shows. typically tickets are ordered through the club and pickedup at the venue. And also distributed via senority, so the longer you've been in the better the seats. This time however because of the shortest of time and the nature of the donation to moveon, tickets had to bought first come first serve via ticketbastard…

I like the seniority thing. I wish REM did that.
