Kubrick: Dr. Strangelove (coincidentally, it's also the finest comedy ever made)
Lucas: as a director, the first Star Wars. Sorry for being so obvious. But as a producer, Raiders of the Lost Ark takes the cake.
And although I've never met the Hasselhoff, I did go to elementary school with Cronenberg's twin daughters, one of whom was my first kiss. (OK, so it would have been better if I'd gotten with both sisters, but please, I was like 11 or something…)
Kubrick: Dr. Strangelove (coincidentally, it's also the finest comedy ever made)
