this point on

I'll throw in VIP 930 tix to show of your choice for winner
I'm down, depending on def of 'high roller' ($100?)
i'll do one more if it's $100..
I'm stupid enough to do another $100 pool.
I'm still in it, but I'll go for another $100 (and a second pair of VIP tix).
I'm so glad I'm still in the pool so I don't have to worry about re-upping. You are the people Vegas loves…throwing good money after bad…with the hopes that your picking will get better!

the only way to win in vegas is to be willing to lose some, you need to be able to ride out the ups and downs, now I am sure I won't be talking like it is so easy when I am there in a couple of weeks

i would argue that picking is easier as the season goes on. first 6 weeks or so dont really tell you much about teams
I was a little surprised by the number of people who took a road team in week 2. Seemed like an unecessary chance this soon to me.

And I've never really liked Sebastian Janikowski. Now I'm sure I hate him.

I didn't realize you made a habit of hanging out with date rapists… good to know you've dropped Janikowski from your entourage though.

that was MY strategy, never take a road team…. and i'm surprised anyone took cincinnatianyyway,

however, apparently i did too and i am convinced my yahoo acct. got hacked, by someone with too much time on their hands.

i owe you $5 still though dont i, i just want to forget this ever happened.
I no longer am sure I'll win…I'm just bored…had already set the browser bookmarks up and BOOM

a void in my life

Vansmack…another pair of tix for administrating?
We could also set up a Pick 'Em pool - high or low stakes. Pick all games against the spread each week. Most total correct at the end of the year wins.

sometimes even good picks don't work out and you want a second chance. there was nothing wrong with picking of jacksonville (at home) over tennessee in week one, it was perfectly legit pick and definitely favored by bookies.

on any given sunday…

David Garrard over Vince Young. That's what you picked. Remember when Jack Del Rio went ape shit because the Jags didn't pick Brady Quinn at his bequest. He was telling you something - that the QB situation in Jacksonville is worse that any one imagines…fortunately for him, this week the other team had Joey Harrington.

that was the one the bookies got wrong, and it was painfully obvious to most people … tennessee ended the year red-hot, no one really knew if vince young was the real deal or not (he is), and jacksonville is full of question marks … but more important than jax's shortcomings is that the titans may be the real deal … i couldn't believe how many points the jags were getting in that game
yeah, it's pretty easy to second-guess professional odds-makers after the fact :)
