um, you are really really quite a few days early. but i may go. i still can't decide whether i love them or hate them.

betty, you just posted a roll call for a concert happening a mere 24 hours earlier. i think smackie is well within the accepted time frame to post this.

i will probably be there. i would definitely be there if the ponys were opening, as they were on a few of the other dates. i have zero interest in the two openers, sunday night … we'll see.

I'm seeing them tonight in Philly, mostly because I'd rather see Gil Mantera's Party Dream than The Rogers Sisters.

I saw them at the Northsix in Brooklyn last November and Philly last night. They really put on an amazingly fun show.

Sorry to miss out on Mr. Vansmack Goes to Washington. My L4-L5 and L5-S1 discs are none too happy with my inflicting two shows and one all-night poker game on them over the last three nights.

Hopefully you'll give me a raincheck for one of my left coast visits later this year.
