you can debate the merits of the show, whether or not you think it's funny, whether it's too over-the-top-preachy, but I can think of dozens of tv shows more "brainless" than south park.

And that wasn't hyperbolizing? South Park is alright, though I think that the creators' libertarian viewpoints have been starting more and more to get in the way of it being a true social commentary.
