They had interviews with him in the PBS history of Rock music, and he seemed a very intelligent thoughtful guy. I guessed it was attitude but I didn't get to meet him. The crew were great and love the tour, so the band can't be that big of assholes.

Josh, if you don't mind my asking, which beach are you going to? There is a slight chance that I may go very soon too and was wondering whether or not to keep a ThatGuy alert out.
