Wow lots of new bells and whistles to play with…..
I think I preffered blue on black and latest posts first, but the rest looks like it could be interesting.
You can rate people… I always wanted to give Paige 1…..

I like this format better…and it makes more sense to have the latest posts last.

It won't when you have multiple pages of posts. I had our board at my office set up this way (UBB 6.5 as well) and everythig was fine until a conversation goes 3-4 pages deep. Then it's a pain in the ass to keep up with (convenient to join if you're a latecomer, but hard for our clients to follow). So we switched to new posts at the top.

I like the new layout as well for the board…although allowing sig files would be schweet too :)

I *so* prefer the posts to descend, rather than ascend (ie, starting with initial post and working down). Some of the threads get so far afield from the initial post, that I always had to go to the end and read 'up.'
THANK YOU Website Master!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, you re-read them all. That's dedication. I'd just scroll down to read just the new posts….
(It's really no different from before, except then you had to read 'answers' to posts you haven't even seen yet, which is uber annoying).

PS, I have no idea why it says I've only posted five times. While I'm still a Jr. member, I've certainly posted over 50 times in the last year.
Moderators, any idea?

I used to be a Full-Fledged Member, but now I'm a Junior Member. What gives? I spent a lot of meaningless minutes posting my ass off to become at one with the 9:30 heirarchy.
I spoke too soon I guess.

well only evilsatan or his weblackey would know for sure… and it appears to flip flopping junior member and member status. possibly the number of posts required to become a member change. but all you'll get from me is dumb looks at this point.

Interestingly, it has my correct sign up date (Oct. 2001), but it basically wiped out any and all postings previous to my visiting the "new" website. I'm starting over from scratch (which I don't mind at all, except for the accusations of "newbie" when someone disagrees with me).

That's cool too. I'm just here getting good advice and news from other folks who listen to and love music as much as I. It's all good – new website or no! It's not easy keeping up with so much great new music, so I do what I can. Get a lot of good advice from the Boards, so thanks to everyone!

What's a gal to do…you regulars can be so imposing, what with your familiar chats, personal stories about each other and good-natured name-calling.
Maybe it's time for this newbie to start lurking again….

no need to start lurking… a new voice is always welcome here… the regulars are great people and i've meet most of them in person. which is in part why you see personal chitchat here.
