Brendan Fraser played a whale?
Totally deserved. Who could have foretold this when he made those 58 horrible movies back in the 90s/00s
The constant Whale and nautical references kinda didn’t go over well. Happy for him tho!
Nothing wrong with the Yeoh pick but Cate Blanchett is the performance we are talking about in a decade.
Miss World Malaysia!!!!

He's actually good on that Apple series with Jason Segel - Shrinking.

Starting that tomorrow night, along with the new season of Ted Lasso.
He'll never be in a better show than Freaks and Geeks though.
It is not as good as Freaks and Geeks but it’s still pretty good.
Yeah. Freaks and Geeks is a show I can watch over and over again. For some reason I also rewatch Forgetting Sarah Marshall over and over as well.

You lost me at Forgetting Sarah Marshall but you do you, man.

Yes, he’s taking a job away from an actor who actually has Parkinson’s. Or as Space would refer to it: he’s performing in Chronic Disease Blackface.

Ha ha good one

Why do people like the Everything movie so much?
It was not my favorite film of the year (that would be Tár of the nominees and Close out of all films), but I thought it quite good. I will say it’s rise to winning all these awards seems organic and genuinely reflecting that subset of people who have real passion for it, unlike last year’s CODA campaign which was an abomination.
I tried watching it, twice. Painfulx2.
