i didn't get any tickets, and that's ok. i'll get some on general sale.

BUT

all you nasty little "junior members" with your two posts complaining about not getting tickets at PRESALE that you somehow feel entitled to? Come on. The presale is a favor that 930 does to reward regulars and serious fans. Oh, you didn't get tickets?? Boo hoo, let's just throw the baby out with the bathwater. Let's complain until the club says "you know what? it's not worth it." then nobody will have a chance.

bottom line?
shut up, whiners.
So forum membership is the only reliable indicator of how long we've been "serious fans"? That's a pretty weak assumption.
Chimbley, it's not my fault that Richmond sucks for live music. We barely get anything. And, the ABC board runs a pretty tight boat due to some really backward early 20th century laws. Fortunately, there are two new major clubs opening up, so maybe that'll bring the "big names" to town. Then, I can stop polluting the air in your shithole of a town.

me too. . .much more entertaining than talking about the passion of the christ.
UNBELIEVABLE. The Interpol presale is now sold out as well seven minutes in. It happened four minutes in.

note to self, start editing posts for fun again…
FWIW….the Interpol presale at noon went rather smoothly. Didn't need a password either - you just had to register with their site and then logon. And only a $8 s/c for two tickets. I'm going to *guess* that tickets.com would be more expensive….

Regardless, there are two shows and it shouldn't be hard to get tix one way or another.
HOW did you get in?
Hint…orders get cancelled. Don't give up. I tried to get some extras for friends that were trying, and there is a 5min required wait between orders. Oh well, there is always tomorrow.
Look, there are a couple baseline understandings to keep in mind here. Presales can be a bitch. Passwords get passed around, increasing the "cluster" aspect of the presale clusterf***. So, when regulars on this board see members – not just "junior," but members with only one or two posts – you can't blame us for assuming that person became a member *only* to get information on that particular presale they're seeking the password for. It's not a caste system, but a merit system, to some extent. And it makes sense. If someone's coming here just to get one password, you can assume that's also a person who's going to email it out to 50 of his Interpol-loving friends. And it's understandable that he/she would do so – he/she doesn't have a sense of loyalty to club regulars or the club. Whom the presale is intended to 'reward.'

My one worry is that we don't screw it up by complaining over every presale.

Though, I'll admit I'm also of the mind that they've lost their usefullness.

i thought only econo did that. . .anyway, i'm sure evilsanta isn't too busy these days.
The link isn't even working for me.
Link - what link? Just go to the Register here button, register, and scroll down to pick the show you want. But it seems both are sold out. I want to cry. I watched as my basket went from 3 to 1 to 0 and now there are no more. Sob. :(
I've become so disappointed with Interpol's "Antics" (being an excellent their previous album) that I didn't even bother to try to get a ticket for this show.
Yeah, I did like the first record better.
