I always heard they should have been called Guided by Beers. Another band name ill-suited for the band would be the Pixies.

those bands are two bands that a number of people on this board talk about, that's why I mentioned them.

i think the fact that we all sit around and talk on a music chatboard all day pretty much qualifies us as hipsters to a certain degree. Embrace your inner hipster.

i nearly wet my pants with laughter one time when Kosmo claimed he wasn't a hipster. The guys in his 40's, still going to rock shows on a regular basis, dyes his hair, wears funky clothes and glasses, drives a mini, and listens to garage rock…and he's not a hipster? hahahahahahaha

The Pixies - The band formed in Boston in 1986. The name was chosen by lead guitarist Joey Santiago after flipping through a dictionary and was okayed by the band because they liked the fact that it didn't have any real relevance to their sound…

so anyway, about Superdrag, no stage presence?, ludicrous, have seen them 4 or 5 times and the only time they were bad was when they played The Tavern at AU, which is a horrible venue
