Shit, born in Iowa. Live at Meridian Hill.

Nope. Does know I am a Scientist count?
8. Firmly believes that Ralph Nader should have won the 2000 presidential election.
Fuck, I worked for him.
7. General arts over-education (i.e. has either designs to attend graduate school, is in graduate school or has gone to graduate school)
School was horrible the first time around.
6. Parents shoulder some of his/her financial burden.
Hell no. I moved out of the house.
5. Owns at least three too tight T-shirts adorned with dated symbols (usually fuzzy or shiny/decal) with which he/she has absolutely no knowledge or connection.
Do those CityPaper shirts count?
4. Can readily and willfully recall the theme song from at least one television sitcom that was cancelled before his/her birth.
His name is Flipper, Flipper, Flipper…
3. Will consciously muss and/or neglect to wash hair in order to achieve a 'look.' (male only)
Washing hair is a good thing.
2. Is of the opinion that 'Pet Sounds' is the greatest Beach Boys album (a comment generally follow by this statement): 'rivaling the Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.'
Two great songs, "God Only Knows" and "A Day in the Life"
1. Insists on calling movies 'film,' insists on calling concerts 'shows.'
Film is reserved for Arty stuff. Shows are reserved for clubs.

But I cannot take the horror of downloading an album more than 5 times without getting all the tracks, that is just useless.
I spent so much time doing it and I feel it wasnt really worth it.
I did enjoy the detroit cobras and
Gorkys Zygotic Mynci though. :)

band with unsuitable name:
Death Cab for Cutie

I'm a little slow to catch onto things, so I apologize if this question has been covered already. What is the monthly subscription fee for using Emusic? I'm checking out the site now, but without signing up, I don't seem to be able to get the info. Thanks.

it was $9.99 a month for unlimited downloading…which rocked.
but now they are changing it. so something like $50
or you can do a $14.95 membership but only get 40 tracks a month.
talk about falling off.

well in theory the amount of people downloading after the 8th will drop dramatically… so anything that been stashed is up for grabs which then can be downloading without problems at your leisure.

oh and i feel your pain about trying to download even sitting at home all day long… but imagine 69,998 other people trying to grab everything possible before the cutoff.

you have to remain subscribed and you be only be able to download whatever is in your collection, (the stuff already downloaded). right now i'm filling up the collection by starting the download and then cancelling it. once it's stored against your account, it can be downloaded later. the only concern is getting terminated by trying to download to much… then everything is lost.
http://www.emusic.com/messages/qanda.html Q: Will I still be able to download tracks I downloaded from EMusic prior to the introduction of these new subscription plans?
A: Yes, as long as EMusic continues to make the tracks available for downloading and you are subscriber to EMusic, you will be able to download these tracks again.
Q: Will multiple downloads of the same track count against my monthly total?
A: Once you have downloaded a track (whether before or after EMusic's introduction of these new subscription plans), that track can be downloaded again without counting against your monthly total.
