Two shows you dont want to miss....

you seem to be the one braying like a goat, here("waaaaaaay more time")…

also, you may want to check the meaning of the word "pithy"…it would almost seem as though you were paying me a compliment by using this word…besides, can one really bleat in a "pithy" way?

the reviewers do not pick thier own CDs to review, at BigYawn.

why would ANYONE do that?

so Big Yawn does really suck, not just the writers?

I don't know, ask Eric. While I probably personally wouldn't have chosen to review it at all if it was my site, I at least did take the effort to listen to it 6-7 times. Perhaps you could take that principle and apply it to "actually attending shows before you attempt to give commentary on them." Just a suggestion.

dont ask me. you're the one that reads it.
The positive quotes were from allmy$to930, bombay chutney, god's shoeshine and redsock, respectively.

The sole negative comment was from Markie.

The reason for including the positive comments was to dispel the notion that they were "underwhelming." Descriptions such as "fantastic" and "great show" are hardly underwhelming.

con-sen-sus

noun

1. An opinion or position reached by a group as a whole.
2. General agreement or accord.
With four times as many positive reviews as negative ones, it is ridiculous to claim that the group as a whole had a negative opinion of the show. It is even more absurd that someone who claims to have advanced degrees in mathematics would find it so. Typical; but still absurd.

why did you not post the one negative comment?

It's a ridiculous notion to think that this group as a whole can agree on anything at all.
It's a bit absurd to think that you take every chance you get to make snarky, condescending statements about me and my personal life whenever possible on this chatboard, when I have never done the same about you.

i think its completely normal to find you and rhett to be more than moderately amusing
This thread is very probably becoming the best thread ever.
I would agree. I find both myself and my wife highly amusing. One of the reasons I married her. I wish you were trapped next to us on the Metro when my wife blows a fart. That would be really amusing. In fact, it would be a gas.

however, not so amusing when you try to be.
I find your wife's bowl haircut and Ann Coultier-lookalike body amusing. Or, by "amusing," I mean "I laugh everytime I see a picture of her." I guess that counts for something.
