and by saying that gays shouldn't be given special rights, if they were allowed to wed that wouldn't be special rights. just catching up for years of not being able to do what straight americans can choose to do.

and to whomever said they didn't want gay to be shoved into their childrens faces, i can think of a hell of a lot "worse" things i will worry about my children having to see then someone who is gay. take for instance the nice crack houses that the government could care less about.

and do i want my children to be gay? (though i think that comment was sort of a light hearted joke..) i wouldnt care. id rather them be gay then date a wifebeater (or husbandbeater whatever) or a drug addict or someone whose family abuses the welfare system, etc.. etc…

i cant believe this is still a discussion. so much for love is blind. whats age matter? whats color matter? why the heck should sex matter.

Actually, I'll take kind, honest, respectful and positive thinking over the qualities you name. Qualities that seem to be lacking every bit as much in the gay world as in the straight world.

Yes, the queers down on 17th Street pay more attention to style than most people. But of what real importance is style?
And as long as a person lives a healthy lifestyle and is REASONABLY fit, who cares how fit they are? Many of the 17th Street queers are just walking vanity projects.
Smart is a good quality, but can you tell that someone is smart just by observing them on 17th Street?
And how do you define successful? There are a lot of pretty queers who make a lot of money and throw it away on consumerist junk. That means they are successful?

i dont hate gays its just nasty seeing 2 guys together doing whatever……i gives me that feeling like after you are kicked in the gonads and you want to throw up(but i dont feel the pain…just the stomach problem…more or less…)

Does vmimports actually work for Volkswagen? If he/she does then that would be peculiar considering that VW's public image is the gayest of all automakers. Not overtly gay, of course, but VW nevertheless appears to be the most gay-friendly.

Dunno, haven't seen such an ad. Besides, I'm thinking more about aesthetics and style of ads. Perhaps what I really mean is that VW is very, er, metrosexual, which I'm sure vmimports would find just as frightening.
