Easily the song I've listened to the most/loved the best was the Marnie Stern vs. Lil' Mama mash-up "Absorb the Lip Gloss." No joke, I listen to it close to once a day.

According to my iTunes:
1. Girlfriend - Avril Lavigne
2. Falling Slowly - The Frames (US '07 release)
3. Gimme More - Britney Spears
4. Sky Blue Sky - Wilco
5. Young Folks - Peter Bjorn and John (although I'm pretty sure it's an 06 release - I didn't get it until 07)

Also seconded. And I'll add in the Lil' Mama remix too, since I love her.

radiohead's "all i need" is the most
beautiful song that i've heard this year… haunting. PJ Harvey's "dear darkness" gets most emotional and creepiest of the year award.

Not to contrary or anything, but:

…worst song of the year. So stupid, retarded and annoying anyone who likes it should be profiled. It would be the worst song of ANY year. You can't even like it ironically.
I refuse to do "Songs of the Year," "10 Top Discs of 2007," etc. Although, I did like "Teenagers" by My Chemical Romance and "Hey There, Delilah" by Plain White T's.

do you understand the word Refuse?
because you didn't…
he also appears to be unaware of what year it is.
