Melt Banana and Lou Reed?

I thought the show was great. Definitely not the setlist I would have chosen, but the band was excellent.

nobody else got any pictures!? man they were cracking down..

also no beer during the show! wacked!

never had seen that before at the 930…

no booze during the show…wtf? this would have upset me.

I think the downstairs bar was open. The bars on the main floor were closed at 8:50.

I took several pics (none of the great really), but then one staffer told me to delete them, and the guy stayed there till I did it, not nice.
The show was OK, nothing spectacular IMO

The bars on the main floor were closed before Lou came out at the request of the artist. The bars upstairs and downstairs were open.

No cameras was also an artist request, and I had to check mine at the door. I'm surprised that you even got in with one and not surprised that they made you delete the pictures.

I noticed one or two other people take pictures with phones but I got the evil eye so I stopped. Here's my other. The third one was even more blurry.

That setlist looks great to me. How was I'm Sticking With You? Will the velvets ever do a reunion tour… in America?

but no, velvets will not ever reunite because sterling morrison died….and thats the end of that..

i was at show and i really enjoyed it.. i love the songs i wasn't familiar with.. maybe it helped i was four feet from lou.. i dunno… i thought it was great…

on the downside there should have been an opener if he was only going to play 12 songs..

Speaking from experience. I wouldn't go posting pictures of a show where there's a no camera policy ;)

I loved the show, though I could have stood for 2 or 3 songs….I really did think it was great. Just Lou being Lou. And Rhett, he's not that buff, quite skinny actually. He stays in shape with tai-chi.

did they give any reasoning why none were approved? or just a no…

It looks like no photos from any pros were approved, which would explain why the Post has a picture from 2005. I think it was because the shiny/rubber shirt he was wearing wasn't flattering.
