from what i am hearing around the hooka . . . is that the biscuits are losing fans left and right.

and being replaced by what?  those band-following, trust-fund-dependent hippies aren't going to ditch their main excuse to get high without having another one to switch to.

can't be phish, not touring enough… sts9?  are the string cheese still around?  moe.? maybe a band i'm not aware of?
i hear that fans are complaing that the db are going too mainsteam, trying to appeal out like a dmb or something.  hippies want stuff all to themselves.
ok, fine, but what's the new thing i should avoid like the plague?

Hopefully we get another thread filled with gold on PT after that last one.

from what i am hearing around the hooka . . . is that the biscuits are losing fans left and right.

Yeah, but genius on Seth and Lisa's part! Not only will all the local hippies have to make it out to celebrate marijuana's National holiday but lots of extras will be in town looking to top off their day long on the Mall high.
11. Zombies

I have heard one new song. It is laughably bad. It's one of those things where it sounds like a producer thinks he/she could turn them into pop stars when in reality, the pop world will continue to not give a rat's ass about them. I'd be bitter if I cared about them, too.

there's a place in dc called fightclub?  can you go in and become two people?

You've ruined the movie for anyone who may have not seen it.

uhmmm . . . that's like saying i just ruined star wars by telling you darth vader is luke's father.
Preemptive strike…. The Drums BLOW and will probably headlining DAR soon.
Basically Owl City and The Drums can be summed up this way…

New Rule: If you are going to rip-off a classic band's sound, then at least write good songs.
Who do the Drums rip off?  I don't think I've heard them yet.  Kinda discounted them based off of their single title.

The Drums rip-off Joy Division/New Order, Surf Music, and sing "ironically".  Plus they have gone for The Flock Of Haircuts look…

I'll bet half of the VW tix  and 3/4 of the Wilco tix were bought by scalpers.

Couldn't get in for Wilco at all.

it was a really tough pull.  on my first try i got a pair on the second balcony, second attempt on an adjacent computer = nothing.  luckily my most amazing wife pulled a pair of center orchs  :o
Looks like Wilco for the National is sold out too hmmm I didn't think it would go that quick as they usually don't sell out shows there instantly.

Well you're in luck. The same guy who got multiple orders of Strathmore tickets also got multiple tickets for the National show and tickets to all the other Wilco shows.

They can be yours for $315 Floor or $195 GA .

you are aware this this isn't one person, but the website is part of a network of scalpers, right?  it's not this "colin" personally bought all these tickets… its dozens of colins in several cities that all bought tickets, and have agreements to list on each other's sites.  they get a cut of the sale if they sell another scalper's tickets.
So, is this gonna be the normal rants of "asshole scalpers taking all the tickets" and "poorly organized ticket sales?"
