Super Furry Animals are coming only to NY and NJ this year for a mini U.S. tour September 11-13 so I'm going to travel. Anybody else planning on going to any or all of these shows? I was going to either drive or I'd go with someone else and split gas if you're driving. I'd much rather not go all by myself!
Going to Super Furry Animals in NY or NJ?
I'll be at the Highline show on the 11th, but I've already booked a Greyound bus from Richmond.
Bit disappointed that this is it for them in the US this year, but very psyched to hear DD/LY live!!!

Word from their UK shows so far is that Crazy Naked Girls is becoming an amazing live song. Should be great. Dark Days/Light Years is my favorite album of 2009. It sounds like it has a lot of live potential.
Ill be at the highline show. I live here, so dont need a ride. I suggest taking the cheap bus option. Its cheap and you dont have to deal with parking.
Wow, you haven't posted in years.

Oh, if I was a woman, you'd SOOOO be buying everyone concert tickets right now!
neverwhere, I remember you wondering about an opener too.
The venue's website lists it as a local band called Real Estate. I'll give them a listen later tonight.

I kinda like what little I've heard of Real Estate.
They're not bad. Not mind-blowing, but they seem like they'll be a nice, chill opener for SFA. And I figured this show would have a local band open, seeing as it's essentially a one-off.
No, nothing special but decent for what they are. Similar to that Ducktails dude.
