I just feel sorry for the kid having to put up with a lifetime of dead of winter birthdays. Ugh! Then again, if they turn out to be a Super Toilet Bowl fan, than it could work out nicely. That is not me. I avoid anything Super Toilet Bowl related like the plague!

Actually, it was my wife, whose fear of hospitals and drugged births and unneccessary cutting prompted her to go the midwife route. Not I. It wasn't until the day of birth that it was decided that the baby would be born at home.

You guys know there's a curse on the Kennedy family, right?

my wife is due april 5, and we have gone the midwife route too (though no home birth)

of course saturday is her shower and i have a bunch of family coming into town that i was really looking forward to seeing

Second, there are certain things in life, that are so simply obvious that sane people do not waste time arguing. I don't try to argue with people who believe the white race is superior to all others. I don't debate with folks who think Jews are evil and control all the world's banks. I don't dicker over the facts with people who think man/dog sexual relations are acceptable. And likewise, I don't attempt to have a serious discussion with climate change deniers. You're clearly an ignorant person; no one who isn't actively trying to reject obvious truth can argue climate change isn't occuring from man-made reasons. THat said, I'll grant you certain details of the Gore doctorine are up for debate. Namely, this world needs to wrap its head around the ugly truth that one of, if not the biggest cause, of man made climate change is obesity worldwide, but no one wants to hear it.

Sweets, there is no way that I will defend any sort of energy company but that does not mean that I will in the least support Al fraudster Gore's Crap and Tax plans that are designed to place mega billions upon billions directly into his greedy little hands. BIG conflict of interest there! You really should look into how that is meant to work. It's not about helping the planet. It's about siffoning off our money for their non-environmental purposes.

Now let's get to something really important:

Julian says Tiffany does not make napkins. After doing 'my' research, it appears that he may be right though I did find these. Frauds? I did find a lot of napkins using name games piggybacking on the Tiffany theme like Tiffany blue (a commercial color construct) napkins and Tiffany's (possesive) napkins. The official Tiffany site had none though I don't know if they ever did at one time which could mean there are a few retro Tiffany napkins on the market.

Those are not blue napkins by Tiffany & Co. They are Tiffany blue napkins. Or, to be even more specific, they are napkins that are very close in color to Tiffany blue since only Tiffany & Co is allowed to use that color in the US, I believe.
