haven't in a while, wasn't really sure it was something that people cared that much about.  could try to bring it back if so?

don't let the #douchetrolls on this here board get you down…

I don't think anyone has ever complained about free ticket giveaways being posted.
Omitting a band due to their content is a bad idea. I'm with you on feeling torn on promoting this band but it's a slippery slope that has no good end. I mean, Odd Future have multiple songs glorifying the rape and murder of women but their local shows have been high-profile affairs. You could get into the lyrical content of Slayer as well.

And for the record, I've seen both of those bands live so I'm not judging either of them.

Do you know of any sites like yours for Philly and Richmond?
Sadly no - someone emailed me about setting up a richmond-area concert listing site but I don't know if they ever ended up doing it.

I guess pollstar/songkick are good places to start, and someone recommended the "Timbre" app to me for local concert listings but I'm not sure how comprehensive that one is.

I'd like to add other city resources to my links page, but other than Austin and NTX, i don't know of other sites like mine.

OneWayRichmond used to have a good one but around a year ago they started editorializing and basically dropped the show listing element of it for some reason.

Richmond'a a lot easier - there's basically only 7 venues you really need to keep up with then watch for festival shows.

Thank you for adding in the two shows I sent you for The Rememberables!

you're welcome! :)  Thanks for emailing me about them– seriously, bands/venues/fans letting me know about DIY shows makes it so much easier for me to keep things updated.
The TransModern Festival listings were for the 2013 shows…
Oh - thanks for that.  I'll update the archives.

Thanks anyway! I am going to be going to Richmond and Philly a few times over the summer and didn't know much outside of Electric Factory and TLA or whatever it's called…
No big update post last week because of Deathfest, but here are all the shows I've updated/changed in the past two weeks:

Focus group question:

I'm adding some ticket links to the individual venue pages on a trial basis, starting with these three: 9:30 Club, Empire, and Rock & Roll Hotel.

Interested in your thoughts on this.  Helpful?  Confusing?  Annoying?

FYI, yes I do get referral fees from Ticketfly when people buy tickets via my site. No extra cost to the consumer for those who are buying online anyway.
You offer a great service.  Happy to use your ticket links when the situation arises.
I second bekessler's sentiments!
