Cool. I obviously want to make the site as useful as possible for folks, but ultimately it's just a hobby I do in my spare time, so overhauling the entire way I set it up might require a bigger time commitment than I have.  That said, I will look into it and see if there's an easy(ish) way for me to do something.

And thanks for the feedback; it's helpful to know how people use (or would want to use) the site.

My tentative plan would be to update this once a week, on Fridays.  I thought I'd at least try it once and see what feedback I got to see if it would be at all useful for folks.

Yup, those guys and I have definitely been in touch, and their site looks good– they just started it a few months ago.

Their site is definitely different than mine, though.  Mine strives to be comprehensive; they pick and choose what they list based on their own tastes.  The WashPost did a profile on them, where they said:
"We generally decide on whether to put the smaller, local acts on based on their Web presence,? Senerth said.

It's a great site if your tastes line up with theirs.  If you want to keep up with smaller bands, house shows, etc., then you have to look elsewhere.  But it's definitely a good resource to add to the area, for sure.

Thanks for that - added the Crittenden one but having problems with the two Amma House shows since districtofnoise appears to be down.  Know details on those shows, by chance?

I have some but not all. The one on the 14th has something like 6-7 acts. I know Christopher R. Feltner, Dementia and Hope Trails and Scant are playing on the 14th and Here is the info on the 8/4 gig.
