RIP - Josh Burdette - thatguy

Oh no!  So sad.  What a sweetheart he was.  Condolences to the 9:30 family.
stunned - cannot believe it - condolences to all at 9.30 - Josh was such an awesome guy
Awful. In many way Josh really was the 9:30 Club to me. Rest in peace.
RIP josh.
This is awful.  :'(

Found out thru a fellow Terp. My sincerest condolences to his family and to his fellow 930 staffers. He was an incredibly nice guy.
Sending love and condolences. Josh is irreplaceable. Our hearts are all broken.

Please let us know if there's anything we can do.  :'( :'(
I have chills just trying to type something out.
Just saw him at THE CULT at FSS, properly enjoying a show and not working.  Figured he'd be at CLUTCH/Shindig soon, too.

This is too awful.
RIP Josh. This is incredibly sad news. I can't think of anyone who better personifies 9:30 Club to me.
RIP. My condolences to his family.
Heard about this almost first thing this morning and am still at a loss for words. My most sincere condolences.
My deepest sympathies to Josh's family and the 9:30 family.  Josh was an integral part of the D.C. music community.
fuck fuck fuck
Very sad news.  DC won't be the same.
To say he'll be missed is an understatement, was always super helpful to me during numerous visits to the club.

This was the first song I played when I found out.

Very sad. Our deepest sympathies to his family. Whenever we saw Josh, the wife and I always got a big hello from him. Our favorite memory of him was at a Ministry show years ago at the 9:30 when he, along with the other security guys were lined up in front of the stage and bobbing their heads to N.W.O. as they scanned the crowd.

Me too.

Then I played Don't Take Me for Granted.

I'm afraid to click Kosmo's link because I know I'd lose it.

EDIT: I was wrong.  It made me feel really, really good.  Josh probably knew that would help.

I'm holding off on Hallelujah though.
