Gay Dog Food: Fem Slick out October 2014
I completely missed that a new Shellac record came out this week.

Shellac still puts out great LPs. Loving this.

Fugazi Are Releasing a Lost Album of Songs From 1988
Welp, someone needs money.

Dischord has been raiding their own vaults for a while now.  Lots of demo releases over the last couple years.  Fugazi, SOA, Faith, Void, Dag Nasty, Artificial Peace, Rites of Spring, etc.  Not to mention re-pressing just about everything on vinyl.  All good stuff, but it does seem a little desperate after a while.

sad about Malcolm…very sad…
Yeah I really dug it on first listen.
so do we think Ex Hex is going to sell out Sunday
I want to go, but it's going to be a last minute decision
I doubt it sells out. (not sure though.  I am going to the Ottobar show which I also would wager wont be sold out).

They're coming to RVA next month with Speedy Ortiz and my friend who works at the venue (which holds ~200) says less than 10 tickets sold. Then again, Ex-Hex is probably much bigger in DC as a "local" act.
And I feel like the Speedy Ortiz buzz is basically gone.
Yeah, would be shocked if it sells out.
Diggin' the Tweedy album more than anything since A Ghost is Born.

hi hutch.
