Comic books and other nerdy topics

Lando Issue 1 came out yesterday!  I quit buying single issues, but might break that rule for this.
Every time I am reminded of Lando Carlission, I think of this.
I love that scene.

It's absolute gold. Black rage! Black rage!
The Star Wars books are good. I only picked up Star Wars and Darth Vader. Have been waiting for the Lando book though.

Was also pleasantly surprised by Howard The Duck. THAT is a funny danged book.
For some reason a few of my friends wanted to play D&D for the first time. So Friday night we all went to my buds house and my bud got a starter pack. It was pretty fun. Don't really understand where the negative stigma comes from, although we only completed 2 missions in about 4 hours… There were also tons of smoke breaks, which didn't help. Maybe it's just because people spend so much time doing it? I guess also the fantasy element. Once you pick up on it, it's pretty easy to play… I guess that also falls on the "dungeon master" and it WAS just the beginner adventure. It's fun though! I was surprised. I was anti it before hand.
Are they anything like Mac Sabbath?

If you have to ask, you'll never know.
I wish there was a way to avoid all Star Wars information about the new movie…

(in reference to the recently released poster)
^^^ yeah, that thing was all over my Twitter feed and I don't really follow many movie feeds or anything like that. Did you catch the behind the scenes reel though? Where they talk about using practical effects and sets? Honestly sold me on the movie more than any of the trailers.
