So who is excited for the upcoming Preacher TV adaptation?

My six yr old plays Mine Craft all the time. Should I be worried? What do y'all think of that game?

If I see someone who looks nerdy, should I punch them?

How does one look nerdy?  Comic book t shirt? 

I don't know anything about MineCraft other than what was in the South Park episode. 

what it your favorite comic series of all time?  i havent collected in years, but i used to love clive barker stuff, secret origins series, alpha flight, the blue beetle, hex, most spiderman series . . . god, now i cant remember anything else and will have to go check.

what is favorite superman, anything?  all of the christopher reeve movies are top notch.  and yes, i loved, smallville.

favorite version of star trek?  next generation.  favorite film?  the first two, with v-ger and kahn.  classic stuff.

best batman movie?  batman returns.  hands down.  the villians made it.

best video game series?  final fantasy.

worst video game?  minecraft.

i just heard about this thing called, nerdcore.

Nerdcore is dead.  I was a fan and part of the community from around 2004 to about 2011.

There are still people who self identify their music as nerdcore, but most of the bigger players have moved on and just call their music hip hop.

If you are interested in the genre i can give you info on who is actually good.

i used to love collecting the series, ghost in the shell stand alone complex.  i think i have every special edition version made.  god they take up so much space.  i have somehow grown out of my nerddom, such as i have grown out of skateboarding.  i dont collect stuff anymore, i dont really watch anime the way i used to, i cant even tell you the last time i read a comic book, and lastly, i find most, if not all, video games, to be boring and just recycled stuff over and over again.  i dont even watch the sci fi channel anymore and even though the idea of a 'con' is uber exciting, i bet i wouldnt pay for a fucking thing.

I read Sandman but I don't think it is all that great.  I did like the first "Death" series.  Second one not as much.

Also, should we discuss slacks in this thread or the old one.

I personally love Sandman and everything Neil has written so far. 

Ghost Folk is a genre but I do not think that many artists are creating music in it.  Mainly I listen to Ellah A Thaun, the same person from the YouTube thread where I first mentioned the genre. 

Walks you outgrew anime?  Too bad, there are some really good series being made at this time…

Speaking of video games, anyone else excited for Elder Scrolls Online?  I have been part of the beta test, and love it so far. I plan on getting it for PS4, but need to buy a PS4 first…

Children under 8 who regularly play video games show an increase in depression and anxiety, a decreased ability to separate fantasy from reality, reduced concentration skills, and exhibit poor academic performance.  Only lazy, crappy parents let their kids play video games.
