The Album Showdown Thread

or

Wow, great thread idea. Dig Me Out, Reckoning.
:P
I so very much prefer Dig Me Out…I was never a big fan of the hot rock.

REM = meh
These are the only two albums by REM that I truely liked.  Saw REM on the Reckoning tour and they were pretty awful so I kind of gave up on them after that.  Bought the album once that had Stand on it.  Terrible.

Anyway back to the question.  Both great but I have to go with Reckoning.  So. Central Rain and Don't go Back to Rockville are better than anything on Murmur and the rest is pretty good.  So basically going hits over total quality.

I can't see Hutch's first album photo.  You might want to list the album title / band under photos from now on in case they get blocked.
Dig Me Out and Reckoning

But neither are my favorite albums by those bands, which would be The Woods and Fables of the Reconstruction.
Ok figured out the Hutch thing.  These are both Sleater Kinney albums.  I have never listened to any of their albums.  Caught the second half of their set at Lollapalooza and it was pretty amazing.  I think it was the next to the last show they ever did.   After they broke-up I was like whats the point and still have never heard them on album.  I guess I could listen to these today.  I have to say I hate Portlandia.
Dig Me Out and Reckoning.

Two of my favorite bands :)

That one with Creep on it.
That is a really tough one, but I'm going with OK Computer.
Murmur, Dig Me Out, and the Bends. 1st and last one were really tough tho.
I would say the Bends.
Evidently Rhapsody only has 3 Sleater Kinney albums and those two aren't in the 3.  Oh well can't win them all.
Reckoning and the Bends.

I'll pass on all other Radiohead albums and anything containing a member of Sleater-Kinney, including the band itself.
