The worst thing I have probably heard this year was 20 seconds of two songs off of the new Drowning Pool.
Yikes.
Yes. I was surprised.

My first thought is that this seems like a horrible idea.
I would be excited but a good friend's band opened up for them and to a man, and this also goes for the guy who acted as their "manager"… they all said Violent Femmes were HUGE pricks.. and these are not the kind of guys who think anyone is a prick..
Jake Bugg
Bugg revealed in 2015 that he had worked with Beastie Boys' Mike D on his third record and that the upcoming effort is "entirely self-written and almost entirely self-produced".
Bugg said the difference between the new album and its predecessor is the "grooves", adding: "There's songs people can actually dance to. I've been listening to [UK station] Smooth Radio. Those songs from the '70s, there was a warmth about them that you don't get in pop nowadays."
He also described his new material as "darker" than his previous work
this new single single is very stripped down
definitely can't dance to that one
word is he recorded the 3rd album and the record co said, screw this…the demos are better and we're releasing that
Still regretting missing his 930 show
he's doing a small US tour…no dc date yet (HEY SETH!)

I kind of thought this dude would be right up my alley, but I couldn't ever really get into him. Oh well… he does have a few catchy jamz though.
