Arrived about an hour before opening at Purple Narwhal Records in Rockville, the closest record store to my home. Eleventh in line. I enjoyed chatting with my fellow music nerds as we were treated to coffee and donuts by the owner. Lo and behold, I got what I came for- Grant Green's Funk in France. Very pleased. It's a beautifully packaged set.

Maybe it was the other Grant Green release then… There were two, one was $79 and the other I think was in that range…
