New goo goo dolls Christmas album!!
The new Springsteen album Letter to You is really solid. Much much better than Western Stars which I couldn't listen to more than once.

I think i used that phrase to describe the new Springsteen as well, though i think i also liked Western Stars (will have to go back and listen again to compare.)
please ensure that Julian is surrounded by towels before letting him read this news:
The Smashing Pumpkins are working on a 33-song “rock opera” sequel to Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness
That’s after, of course, the alt-rockers release forthcoming double album, Cyr

Care far more about that Mellon collie anniversary tour if COVID ever ends.
This new Elvis Costello album is not at all what I was expecting.. it's far more adventurous in sound then I would expected from him, it sounds similar to what Jarvis Cocker and Baxter Dury have been doing of late.
Didn’t know he had a new one

i know, but i was concerned that this callback to the last time the band was relevant would get your juices flowing.

A few years earlier I saw them at llola
William got very upset about flying water bottles
I probably already shared this

dude, when it comes to relevance, i don't think you want to hitch your wagon to mine.
I saw Corgan join Roger Waters on stage for some benefit thing a few years ago. His vocals on Brain Damage were freakishly chilling, and seem to hit a little too close to home for him.
Better but still missing the hook or break!
I also heard a bit from a third track
I think this album is going to be better than Rock or Bust which I found really disappointing
