I mean it’s all relative… people on that plane won’t get their heads chopped off but what awaits them in America?
they're not headed to america - that flight went to Doha. zero chance all those folks will be getting to the US, unless they already have visas.
none of those people are getting to the US.
They'll be living in a higher end version of whatever is happening at the Mexico border for a while and then shipped off to some other wasteland.

Can't believe they're not wearing masks on that flight.
i'm told the refreshments were pitiful and service was really, really slow.
tell me about, paid for the upgrade to get the bigger seat and I heard they just left my luggage on the tarmac, I'm going to be speaking to the manager about this

Having said that, there are a lot of competing interests
I remain hopeful they will tone it down cause hope is all I got …

And this is your positive spin? That armed american men are worth more than unarmed oppressed war-torn civilians?

Taking time out from his search for the real killers to comment on COVID vaccinations and the Afghanistan situations. Thanks Juice!

Pentagon says Kabul airport is secure, plans to evacuate 5,000 to 9,000 people per dayAt a briefing in Washington, U.S. officials said that approximately 3,500 troops were on the ground at Kabul's Hamid Karzai International Airport as of Tuesday morning, with 500 more expected by the end of the day.
About 100,000 people, including American citizens and Afghans who qualify for so-called special immigrant visas, or SIVs, are believed to be seeking to leave the country.
so we haven't really left yet…isn't that number higher than what was there the week before?

Well I suppose the number will grow and grow…You could probably find millions of Afghanis who would love to come here.
One thing about people living in developing countries: they imagine living here like we are all millionaires kicking back at the beach. They have no idea that at least half of Americans are struggling to get by.. that most Americans can’t even afford a few hundred dollars emergency…they see the movies…here the things we want them to believe…we don’t advertise that half our country loathes immigrants, for example… that upward mobility has become largely a myth

West Baltimore born and raised
Hanging outside Pimlico was where I spent most of my days
Working out, staking my corner, defrauding a fool
Shooting up heroin outside a school
When a couple of guys who were up to no good
Started making trouble in my neighborhood
I got in one little fight and my mom got scared
And said you’re moving in with Hutch in Virginia somewhere!
