LIVE at the Atlantis

A friend of a friend says there is a "stand by" line for the Foos and they're like #20. No clue how that would even work unless they are letting people relinquish extras at the door (which I am sure they would get offered more for just walking up) or they have a lot of guest list holds and anticipate some potentially getting returned. Either way, I don't like the odds for them.

I have managed to get tickets for 2 seperate shows off the exchange today (Franz and Living Colour) and saw 4 others (Bush, Modern English, Hot Chip, and Darius Rucker) flash inventory at some point. Coverage of the opening might be reminding people they have tickets they need to list. Thrilled after totally missing out the lotto and soft open shows.

Interesting… I'm convinced there were none given to the general public at this point.

I know a person on a foo board got lucky and scored two tickets around 10pm last night.  So who knows how many more were released before or after that  ;D

This event has started or has already happened, so ticket sales have stopped.

And then someone beat me to tomorrow night's Walkmen tickets that just went up. If it was one of you and you need a plus 1, pick me!
FT: One Yo La Tengo
ISO: One Pixies
Spotted so far… Jose Andres and Robert Costa… and Bob Boilen.

They're just like us.
Dude, you are way better than them.

Exchange tickets can be listed up to one hour after event start time so that message doesn't apply. In fact a Foos ticket came up right about the time you posted this. I had it in my grasp but lost out in the transaction stage. No others came up.

That's good to know. I heard none of the stand by people got in, which isn't surprising. The guy offering $2k cash to people entering if they'd let him be their plus one didn't even find a taker, so this was a nearly impossible ticket to get after the initial lotto.

I'm not entirely sure why there's a chair mounted to a pole…is that a thing from the original club?
yeah at every show, someone filmed it via VHS … most of the footage was lost is my understanding

how are the foos supposed to fit on that stage?  3 guitarists, 1 bass, 1 keys, and a drummer… gonna be crowded if they're all up there.
troublefunk had about 13 people and instruments on stage
a rather tame crowd for Foos based on videos I saw…

VIPs = no fun zone
I don’t know…..Jose Andres gets down as I recall from the Foos 930 reopening show

Paraphrased Seth quote: All cities have their rock stars. We're pretty lucky…we got Dave Grohl, Detroit got Ted Nugent

Let's get this straight. Dave Grohl is from Springfield. Hamilton Lighthouse is from DC.
I take it back… Just discovered a peasant that I know that actually hit the lotto and was at the show last night. Still the only normal person I know there at this point…
I mean, my 76 year old mom goes to Foos shows…I can't imagine it's a very rocking crowd

"In my interview with Seth, he said it would be a mix: Focusing on up-and-coming bands, but he wants to keep doing underplays. Guessing it will be a Walkmen/Postal Service situation - bands playing 930/Anthem/MPP also doing a "surprise" show at Atlantis." - Fritz Hahn
