So B&S is playing a single show and then 9:30 is selling tickets to what? A "used" B&S show?

And you say my analogy is bad…….

B&S is providing two cars, an early one and a late one. 9:30 is selling both of them.

This really isn't a difficult concept.

Your complaint about moving the early show to a start time you may not be able to make is a valid concern. But this idea that it will only be half a show isn't.
