I have a goatee because it suits me and I like it…I've had one since the days they weren't cool, then cool, then not, then cool again etc…..I had a full beard during my Falkland Islands stint and didn't like it one bit…my beard is red, (where it's not gray these days), so a full beard makes me look like an angry Scotsman.

What does Pitchfork say about full beards? They would be the source to turn to in figuring out whether they are cool or not.

this babe prefers the goats…full beards look kinda gross and too fatherly for a young guy (or my husband or mankie, ha ha)…OR they look too hippie-ish…I don't dig hippie guys

p-fork doesn't mention full beards, and while pop matters doesn't mention *full* beards in particular, it does mention beards…

Well, BigYawn has a goat, and his girlfriend would kill him if he tried to grow a beard… though I gotta say growing my hair out a little and having a full beard would be cool for a little while. Problem is, the beard would come in a little patchy. On other men, I think it just depends on what you look better with. Some guys look goofy clean-shaven, or with full beards. Individuality is the new hipster thing…

i lived in manassas for a year. it is not on the moon. clearly a different planet

I'm like thatguy….I just don't look right as a grown man without some kind of facial hair….not that I look young, but clean shaven I look like the boy who never grew up or something…hard to explain really.

They do have a good speedway out there though.

I recently shaved off my goatee, and am working on growing my mullett. Hopevully people will now be able to separate me and Mankie.
