Bands you miss

Awesome; thanks for the heads-up. Found the myspace link to his new project on that board. Sounds great.

Whatever happened to Steve Mason anyway? Last I heard, he was a couple days from starting a tour with his project King Biscuit Time (who put out an above average album a few months ago) and just vanished without a trace.
he posts on the messageboard at http://www.kingbiscuittime.co.uk/
I cry every night about the Jesus and Mary Chain.

Boy, are you going to be embarrased when you realize that you posted this in the wrong thread. :D

And I agree with you, once you get it in the right thread. ;) Hated them!
whoever said the anniversary and at the drive in, high five. at the drive in especially. a lot of people forget about this band, because of the mars volta and sparta - neither of which comes close to the genius of ATDI, and both of which are highly overrated.

if at the drive in played a reunion show anywhere in the country, i'd be there. no matter what.

Phish

I miss them too. I think I read somewhere that they're going to be starting the ship up again. I'll bet they're playing in DC within the next 1-2 years. That said, it won't be the classic line-up of William, Jim, Douglas and Bobby, which means it'll be less crucial.

How could I have forgotten the dB's? Great call, Kosmo!
The dBs were reunited for some recording and shows last year, but nothing permanent seems to have come of it. Hopefully, some more long lasting will happen soon, as they produced some solid records in their heydey.
rage against the machine… saw them twice, craziest and most energetic shows i've ever been to. ever. i remember leaving one concert thinking i hadn't touched the ground for two hours straight.
