voices to make a nation cry

Of course McCain regrets his association with Keating after getting BUSTED and having it blow up in his face. And he's used that "greatest mistake of my life" line elsewhere - e.g. the failure of his first marriage following 43 year old McCain's affair with 25 year old debutante Cindy - who went on to bankroll his political career and life.
He'll REACT as politically necessary, but what are his natural instincts? His instincts appear to be aligned with the rich - even if they are corrupt - unless it becomes politically necessary to act otherwise.

obama lived in chicago, i bet he knew a lot of people

You may not like the conclusions but it is consistent with McCain's inconsistency. Don't expect individual writers to provide you with a CrossFire style point, counter point. This article is well researched, and does include the opinions of others (with comparable credential to McCain and plenty of expertise on what they are discussing).

i dont really believe the polls but at least show the map if youre making that point
do people on here who push poll numbers, take part in these polls? do they really show an exact makeup of the entire country?
They don't capture any of the cell phone only market. Or the don't have a phone market.

The guy behind this site was Colbert Report last night which in it's entirety one of the shows best. The "town hall" segment at the beginning was absolutely inspired.

And according to the fact checkers on NPR, McCain is spewing utter nonsense about any fine on business not providing health care in Obama's health care plan. In general McCain spewed nonsense all night and came off as a arrogant, out of touch old man.

Originally posted by manimtired:I'm not going to call it a lie - and your last post WAS misleading. To say that the last Zogby poll reflected a tightening of the race is simply wrong, given that the previous Zogby poll had a closer race. This poll would imply that it is slightly closer today than yesterday - but again, you're dealing with four total data points, instead of looking at polling across the board.

You want a clearer picture of what's happening? Look at the state polls and look at the national averages. This race is not getting closer, and the debate last night did not change that.
McCain: Obama 'not presidential'
The latest John McCain ad says Barack Obama is "not presidential" and accuses "folks" of lying.
excellent ad. totally getting to the issues, once again  this ad is as confused as mccain's talking style. it's all over the place, unfocused, and doesn't back what it is saying… when not lying. good work there, GOP. this is the type of stuff that turns a campaign around.

and yes, i believe obama when he says that the person he worked with on community projects isn't the same man, in terms of beliefs and character, as the one who was part of these organizations in the 1960's.
then you are an idiot.
