Only once - Tragically Hip at the Bayou on 12/5/89. I had tickets to the Buzzcocks/Carlsonics show last year, but a little too much celebrating the night before caused me to miss that one. :(
Drive By Truckers on my 37th, this year.

hey dlcjr1775, my birthday is 7/31 and I'll be 29 too!

Anybody ever see a show on their birthday? I think my only one was My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult in 1993 in Chicago. I missed Lush at the Vic Theater in 1994, which would have also been a good one.

Well, then you must have a birthday very close to mine ~ even maybe the same.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that ggw is also close to that date…if not the same too.

odd
I saw Hanson on my birthday!
I was speasking of their show at Towson earlier this year. Will be seeing them in Richmond on Saturday, and probably in DC. Those dates will not be on my birthday.

I ran the Pittsburgh Marathon on my 33rd birthday, but I guess that's another thread. That particular race was a US Olympic qualifier race; I didn't make the team.

Pixies/Radiohead/Kraftwerk under the setting sun in the CA desert.

It's set a pretty high bar for me & all future birthday celebrations
May 1 is my birthday as well comrade

I know. Wasn't that early May though? I only remember because I thought it would make a heck of birthday party. I then opted for Coachella instead. I was wrong about ggw being early May - It's Pollard. Happy belated birthday to all the May Day babies.

He offered, but then Ian stopped him and reminded him that the purchase of brand-name frozen confections simply propped up the corrupt, capitalist, government-subsidized, sugar barons and their exploitation of the working-class, migrant proletariat.
I saw The Bigger Lovers on my birthday this year…! Woo hoo. May rocks…
Bood to know this Guy guy can think for himself.

Does anyone on the board share my birthday (12th February)?

Cheers

A bit early to revive this thread. Lulu's birthday isn't until July 17.
